Instructor Opportunities
The PHCC Educational Foundation is proud to offer multiple training opportunities for apprentice program instructors, secondary and post-secondary instructors, continuing education instructors, and plumbing and HVACR in-house company trainers.
Back by popular demand are the Foundation’s regional instructor workshops geared toward instructors who want to focus on their classroom techniques. The 2013 workshops will be held on the following dates:
- May 16-17 – Valley Forge, Pennsylvania (part of PA/NJ PHCC convention)
- June 20-21 – San Antonio, Texas (part of TX PHCC convention)

Each year, the PHCC Educational Foundation joins forces with ACCA, AHRI, CARE, HARDI, HRAI, NATE, OSMA, RSES, SkillsUSA and other industry organizations to offer an HVACR and mechanical instructor conference geared toward improving the quality of instruction in secondary, post-secondary, community college and apprentice programs across the country. The next event, the 2013 HVACR & Mechanical Conference for Education Professionals, is scheduled for March 11-13, 2013 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Plumbing Instructor of the Year Award
This annual award, sponsored by CONTRACTOR Magazine, recognizes the contributions of an outstanding plumbing instructor who is making a difference for his or her students. The award is presented at the PHCC CONNECT event in the fall. Click here for the application. Application deadline is July 15.
